Christopher M. Rector

Christopher M. Rector, departed this earth on March 2, 2014. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Chris is survived by his wife Sylvia Hatsutani, his father, Bill Rector, his children Alex Rector and Sydney Easter, and his three grandchildren Emily Jean Easter, Timothy Alexzander Easter, and Kendra Aurora Rector. Christopher was retired from the U.S. Army and continued serving that organization in a civilian capacity. As an Airborne Ranger he fought for this country to the best of his ability, keeping all of us safe from "the wolf that prowled at the door". He earned many commendations while serving including the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal and the Parachutist Badge with commendations from Australia, Germany, Honduras and Thailand. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten by all that had the pleasure of knowing him or serving alongside him. A service will be held in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 with burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
