Louise Straub, 85, passed from this life on March 4, 2014. Louise and her husband, Gene worked together tirelessly to instill Christian values and goals in their children and all who crossed their paths. They truly led by example. After his passing, she continued her ministry of Love. While we celebrate her life, we will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Straub; her parents, Charles and Mamie Hess; three sisters, Augusta McMahon, Kathryn Arnett, Martha Lovelace; two brothers, Arthur "Buddy" and Lewis "Joe"; two sons, Thomas and Kenneth and one great grandson, Jackson Thomas Murray. Louise is survived by three sisters, Charline Jackson; Dorothy Boeckmann; Jean Danehower; three brothers, John, Richard, Rudolph "Rudy" Hess; three sons, Philip (Mary); John (Tanya) and Albert (Clara); two daughters, Beverly Coryell and Barbara (Steve) Yates; 23 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren and many others who called her Mom, Aunt Louise or Grandma. A special thanks to the caring and loving staff of St. Vincent's Infirmary 2 NW. You made our mother's last few days very special. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church. Rosary will be 7 p.m., Friday, March 7, 2014 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Friday before the Rosary. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Johnny Stout, Jeffrey Stout, Justin Stout, Aaron Straub, Ryan Straub, Wes Straub and Joe Straub.
