JAMES O. ATKINS JR., "Bobo", 64, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He was born in Little Rock to James O. and Faye Macon Atkins and was a member of St. John Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Cynthia Atkins; he is survived by three brothers, Carlton Young, Patrick Atkins, and Donald Atkins, all of Little Rock; and seven sisters, Linda Harris, Janet Wilson, Diana Williams (James), Sharon Atkins, Carla Atkins, and Vicki Aday, all of Little Rock; and Constance Atkins of Benton. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Thursday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church at Roosevelt and South Main Streets, officiated by Rev. C. Dennis Edwards.
