Marguerite Forte Robinson

Marguerite Forte Robinson, age 99, of Lake Village, died Friday, March 07, 2014, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village. She was born Nov. 29, 1914 in Albertville, Ala., the daughter of the late James Thomas Polk and Charlotte Lawson Polk and was a homemaker and a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Polk; and by sisters, Jewel Anderson, Willa Hackett, and Bobbie Bowmen. Survivors are a daughter, Patty Zieman and her late husband, Judge Fred Zieman; three grandchildren, Mike Zieman and wife, Suzanne, of Monticello, Sam Zieman and wife, Dayla, of Spring, Texas and Charlotte Yandell and husband, John, of Spring, Texas; and seven great-grandchildren, Meri Whitney, McKenzie, Mary Katherine, Anna, and Margaret Zieman and Justin and Cody Mencer. Visitation is from 5-6 p.m. Sunday at Bishop Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Theophilus Okpara as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Isadore Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Mary's School, P. O. Box 272, Lake Village, Ark. 71653.
