Rick Burnett

Rick Burnett, 78, of Hot Springs died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in Hot Springs. Born Dec. 24, 1935 in Pine Bluff, to the late Harvey and Eunice Burnett. Rick graduated from Pine Bluff High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corp; he attended University of Arkansas at Monticello and retired from GMAC after 30 years. He attended First Assembly of God Church. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Rosemary Burnett; daughter, Debbie Scarborough; grandson, Jason De Priest; great-grandchildren, Alexia and Hayden De Priest; sisters, Frances (Leroy) Cosby, Ontee Gilmore; nieces, nephews and friends. His request was donation to science at UAMS. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Children's Home, 2328 Malvern Road, Hot Springs, Ark. 71901.
