James Godfrey

James Alfred Godfrey, son of the late Dorce Sr. and Linder M. Godfrey was born in Houston, Texas September 15, 1954. James departed this life March 7, 2014. He leaves to cherish his memories son, Donte Godfrey, four brothers, Willie L., Dorce Jr., Willie E. and Charles Godfrey; two sisters, Linda Barton (Henry), and Ruby Sullivan; three aunts, Nancy Dedmon, Lady Williams and Sedonia Macon; two uncles, Charlie Thomas (Mary), Eugene Thomas (Muriel), long time companion Lillian Hollis and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 15, 2014, 11 a.m. and visitation will be Friday, March 14, from 1 til 6 p.m. with both services at Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S.
