Robert John Donoher of Benton, entered the Lord's presence on Monday, March 10, 2014. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on June 9, 1925. Bob was a WWII veteran who proudly served his country. On October 11, 1979, he married Rose Eriksen, becoming a caring father to six children, ranging from ages 14-22. Bob was a loving and loyal husband of 34 years. He will always be loved and remembered as the best father and grandfather. He retired as a railroad police sergeant for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad System in Oregon, Ohio. Bob loved sharing stories about his 37 years as a railroad officer. Friendly to everyone, he touched many lives, putting a smile on the faces of all in his path. He actively participated in ministries over the years. The Cherry Street Mission in Toledo was important to Bob, where he felt privileged to share his testimony and the Word with others. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, James and Crystal Donoher, brothers James, Michael, and Walter Donoher. He is survived by his wife, Rose Donoher, his children, Paul Eriksen (Gwen), Donna Bauer (Denzil), Mark Eriksen (Tammy), Barry Eriksen, Diana Eriksen, and Laura Eriksen, 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Hwy 5 N, Bryant, Ark. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, March 16, from 2-4 p.m. The funeral will be Monday, March 17,at 11 a.m., with the burial following at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
