Essie M. Webster House, 96, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord March 15, 2014 after a long illness. She was born December 10, 1917 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to the late Charlie and Badie Webster. She grew up in England, Arkansas and moved to Little Rock in 1948. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She worked at Kellwood Dress Company for 30 years and at Fine's Department Store. Essie is preceded in death by her husband, Otis House; a brother, Monroe Webster; sister, Irene McGhee. She is survived by her sisters, Leota Henderson of North Little Rock and Adelle Saulters of Little Rock. She made her home for many years with Adelle and her niece, Janet Saulters. Aunt Essie was a second mother to a host of nieces and nephews. She was such a kind and gentle spirit who was deeply loved by all her family and friends. Throughout her entire life, she was a living example of what unconditional love truly means. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Immanuel Baptist Church in the Chapel, 501 N. Shackleford Road, Little Rock, Ark. 72211, Phone: 501-376-3071.
