Glenn Alton Montgomery died on March 15, 2014, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born March 1, 1944, in Norfolk, Arkansas, to the late Beulah Arnold Montgomery and James Alton Montgomery. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Maxwell Robert Montgomery. Glenn graduated from North Little Rock High School where he was a standout athlete and graduated from Arkansas State University. He worked in sales at Molex of Lisle, Illinois, and retired after 28 years. He had a lifelong passion for golf and looked forward to the annual family vacation to Rosemary Beach. Glenn's bravery through this illness was an inspiration to all who knew him. He lived every day of his life to the fullest and shared his wit with all of those around him. He leaves a legacy of how to enjoy life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janis, and children, Blake Alton Nelson Montgomery (wife Shannon) and Melissa Montgomery Jacob, grandchildren, Miles Nelson and Maggie Leland Montgomery and Anna Claire and Kathryn Blake Jacob, and his special sister-in-law, Gayle Mawhinney, all of Little Rock. He is also survived by sisters, Janis Thompson (James) and Beth Simons, and brother-in-law, William Henderson Mawhinney.
