Loreta Avery

Loreta Avery, 73, of Benton passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Reta was born May 10, 1940, in Piney, Ark., to Thelma Hendrix and David Avery. She loved to fish, crochet and spend time with family. Reta is survived by two brothers, a daughter, Lanora Keen of Benton, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, beloved dog Bean, and cousins including Reece Lamb of Van Buren. Her memorial will be at Highland Heights Baptist Church, 1421 Alcoa Road in Benton on Friday, March 21. Loved ones are invited for fellowship at 3 p.m. with service following at 4 pm. Reta's ashes will be interred at Antoine Cemetery.
