Minnie Hall Tribble

Minnie Frances Hall Tribble, 74 of Stephens, Arkansas, formerly of Tatum and Center, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Wentworth Place in Magnolia. She was born on December 23, 1939 in Stephens to Clarence Calvin Hall and Euna Mae (Miller) Hall. Minnie and her husband Ben owned and operated Tribble Logging and Lumber where she was the bookkeeper and was a former cosmetologist for five years. She loved to cook and often would take her home cooked meals to the woods for Ben and their employees and earned bragging rights as she won the Deep East Texas Electrical Co-Op Chili Cook Off. While living in Texas, she was a member of the Tatum Garden Club, and attended Lakeland Baptist Church at Tatum. Minnie moved back to her hometown and returned to her home church at Corinth Baptist Church where she was a member for 64 years and often played the piano and organ. She always enjoyed her girl's night out with friends and classmates. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ben Richie Tribble; sister Lena Autry and her husband Raymond;; brother Ralph Hall; sister in law Dixie Hall; nephews, Calvin Joe Hall and Clennon Hall; brother in law Sonny Williams, and mother and father in law Gordon and Margarette (Green) Tribble. Minnie is survived by her brothers, Charles Hall and Martha of Stephens, James Hall and Carlyn of Mt. Ida, Arkansas; sisters Hazel Williams of Ruston, Louisiana, Betty Pennington and Roy of Stephens; four nephews, Dolph Williams and Kim of Ruston, Allen Autrey and Debbie of Stephens, William Hall and Karen of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Jerry Pennington and Judy of Rison, Arkansas; and four nieces, Sue Ann Herter and Gerald of Ruston, Ramona Autrey of Little Rock, Janie Wilkerson of Stephens, and Lynda Dean and Nick of Bryant. Family visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 21st with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel in Magnolia with Bro. J.W. Helm and Johnny Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Stephens Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Memorials may be made to the Corinth Baptist Church, 1390 Columbia 64 North, Stephens, Arkansas, 71764. Pallbearers will be Johnny Moore, Ronnie Thompson, Jerry Pennington, Don Brasher, Ronnie Griffis, and William Hall. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Price and Jimmy Drake.
