Betty Juanita Rogers, 81, entered Heaven Wednesday, March 19, 2014. She was born December 10, 1932 to Rush and Maggie Fletcher Jones in Ozan, Arkansas. "Baby" to her loving husband Dean and "Mimi" to her only grandson, she was Juanita to everyone else. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. An only child, she was spoiled by shop keepers and bus drivers from Washington to Nashville, Arkansas, graduated from Nashville High and attended Southern State College before beginning an executive secretarial career in government and education. Lifelong friends made there enriched and sustained her for all of her days. Fourteen years in Hope preceded 24 retirement years in Northwest Arkansas to be near their only grandson. Retirement memories included the Razorbacks, reunions, Hot Springs trips and phone calls with dear friends. She was preceded in death by husband Delbert Dean who passed away October 17, 2013. Survivors include son, Bill with daughter-in-law, Julie and grandson, Greg of Springdale.
