JOSEPH EDWARD FELDMAN, of 3133 Clearwater Court, Sherwood, Ark., died at his home on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the age of 51. He suffered from Hepatitis C and had a liver transplant at Memphis Methodist Hospital in October 2013. A memorial service for relatives and close friends will be held at Holt Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. Pastor Matt Fries will officiate. No visitation will be held. A private burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Phil Wood, Doug Fast, Mike Yarbrough, Rick Milburn, Barrett Jones, and Jeff Feldman. Joe was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and had worked for Flexsteel Industries and the Arkansas Builders and Contractors Association. He was an avid fan of auto racing, loved to golf and enjoyed snow skiing, and he was a devoted pet owner. His brother, James R. Feldman preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Nicki Feldman; her brother, Matt Fries; her sister, Suzie Bourchard; and her mother, Pat Mabry; his parents, Glen J. and Shirley A. Feldman; two brothers and their wives, Mark and Nancy and Jeff and Peggy Feldman, all of Harrison; and a sister and her husband, Judy and Jerry C. Jones, of Little Rock. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 72210 or to a charity of your choice.
