Kathy Lynn Mason

Kathy Lynn Mason, age 54, of Heber Springs, passed away March 18, 2014 at Baptist Health Medical Center LR from complications of lupus. Kathy was born March 21, 1959 in Newport, Ark. to parents, Dean and Wrenetta Mason. She loved her dog, Kinda, enjoyed being outside tending to her vegetable gardens, her Empress Trees and her roses. She also graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2000. Kathy is survived by her mother; sisters, Susan (O.D/Dean) Kumpe and Sarah (Chris) Isgrig and their daughter, Norah Grace. Kathy is also survived by a host of friends and family that will cherish her memory.   She is preceded in death by her father; sister, Carol Ann Mason; and her grandparents.  Kathy's wishes were for her body to be used for medical research and will be cremated at a later date. Because of her specific wishes, there will be no funeral services. Memorials can be made in her honor to the Heber Springs Humane Society, 49 Shelter Lane, Heber Springs, Ark. 72543.
