Dwayne Howard Archer Sr.,

Dwayne Howard Archer Sr., age 67, of Roland, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Dwayne was born August 13, 1946, in Little Rock, to Hubert and Violet Howard Archer. He married the love of his life Nelda Jackson, on November 18, 1967 in Sherwood, Arkansas. Dwayne was an amazing father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved to fish, and enjoyed singing at Little Rock West Assembly of God, where he attended since 1975. Dwayne was a Vietnam War veteran who proudly served in the United States Army and he was a friend to all who met him. Dwayne is survived by his wife, three sons; Dwayne H. Archer Jr., Christopher L. Archer (Rachel), Anthony T. Archer, three sisters; Pamela Brown, Diane Reed, and Sandra Dillavou, two brothers; Kenneth Archer and Gary Archer, and four granddaughters; Brittany Archer, Adrianna Archer, Colleen Archer, and Melody Archer. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Little Rock West Assembly of God, 16403 LaMarche Dr, Little Rock, Ark. 72223, (501) 868-5000 with interment to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
