Geneva Jane Osier

Geneva Jane (Banks) Osier, 89, of Newport departed this life Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She was born in Hardin County, Illinois May 18, 1924 to Clyde and Grace (Mott) Banks, and was a long time member of Umsted Memorial Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; Finis "Jack" Osier, parents; three brothers; Olen Banks, Otis Banks, and Loren Banks, and one sister; Golda Belt. Her survivors are one son; Bill Osier and wife Sharon of Newport, two daughters; Janis Graves and husband Dan of Vidor, Texas, Betty Billings and husband Bob of Germantown, Tennessee, one brother; Clyde Banks Jr. of Anna, Illinois, and seven grandchildren; Laura Graves Fossen (Mike) of Cypress, Texas, Curt Osier (Wendy) of Newport, Doug Graves (Cheryl) of Katy, Texas, Jack Osier of Newport, Anna Billings Moore (Justin) of Cordova, Tennessee, Jennifer Osier Branch (Joey) of Newport, and Stephen Billings (Sarah) of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Umsted Memorial Methodist Church. Interment will be in Fakes Cemetery in McCrory, Arkansas.
