Jeanne Elaine Daggett died unexpectedly in Conroe, Texas on March 22, 2014. She was born on February 4, 1948 in Hutchinson, Kansas and graduated high school in 1966 from Colcord, Oklahoma. Jeanne moved to the Houston area in the 70's, where she raised her three children. She was an Alcohol Drug Counselor, was an active member of the Montgomery County Democratic Party and an avid animal lover with a fondness for cats in particular. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lois Sterns, and is survived by her husband, Alan Daggett; children, Shelly Mirelez and husband George, William Martin and wife Brunilda and Kelley Hill and husband Jack; grandchildren, Rebecca and Joseph Mirelez, Shelby, Madison and Norma Jean Myrick, Austin Hill and Bailie Chastain; and several aunts and uncles as well as numerous cousins. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 pm until 8 pm on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N. Frazier at Wilson, Suite 115, Conroe, Texas 77301. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Northside Baptist Church, 1115 Houston, Conroe, Texas 77301. Graveside services and interment will follow at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2014 in the Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jeanne's name to Bonnies House, 908 Silverdale, Conroe, Texas 77301.
