Loran F. Barnes III

Loran F. Barnes III, age 53, of Benton passed away Friday, March 28, 2014. He was born July 29, 1960 in Little Rock. Loran was the former night Manager for Ed and Kay's Restaurant in Benton, a US Navy Veteran and a Baptist. Loran was an avid deer hunter and a triple trophy winner in 1995-1996. Survivors: mother, Kay Diemer, Benton; father and step-mother, Loran Barnes Jr. and Patricia Barnes, Powhatan, Ark.; and several other family and friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Ivy Chapel Cemetery in Little Rock.
