Alvin Leo Cheshier, 72, of Des Arc died Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Gale (Taylor) Cheshier, one daughter, Kristie Smith and husband, Jamie, two brothers, Almond Cheshier, Kenneth Cheshier, two sisters, Evelyn Taylor, Betty Treadwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Audrey Cheshier, one daughter, Tammi Cheshier. Visitation is 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church with funeral services following at 2 p.m. Burial is in Lakeside Cemetery. www.garthfuneralhome.com.
