Margaret Elizabeth Leishman

Margaret "Peggy" Elizabeth Leishman, 90, of Sherwood died Saturday, May 3, 2014. She was born August 23, 1923 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania to the late Richard L. and Vada Mattoon Work. Mrs. Leishman was of the Methodist faith and worked in accounting for Arkansas Power and Light for 14 years. She was a pastor's wife for 31 years and a pianist. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, bowling and family gatherings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Leishman and her sister, Norma Greenland. Mrs. Leishman is survived by three daughters, Rebecca Graves, her husband Bryan, Shirley Senteney, all from Sherwood, and Susan Jackson of Mabelvale; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive her. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 in the chapel of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
