She was a member of Concord Methodist Church. She was very patriotic being a military wife, mother, and grandmother. If you spoke with her, it would not be long and she would be bragging on one of her many children or grandchildren. She was very proud Christian, Parent, Grandparent, American, and Hogs fan. If you were in earshot and the Hogs won you could hear her ringing the back porch bell. She was a proud graduate of Central High Little Rock, Ark. and was a 4 H Leader/parent. Her children went to school at Midway (south of Cabot) and Cabot High in which she was active supporter and fundraiser. She loved any reason to gather and cook for her family. Polly was an avid gardener who loved to can, quilt, sew, crochet, dance, laugh, and Dr. Pepper!!! She was a woman who wanted to know where she came from, learning early in life she was adopted which fed her ambition to know her family roots along with her husbands, and she loved to work on her families trees, which became her passion. There will be a Celebration of Life held Monday, May 12 at 12 p.m. at Concord United Methodist Church in Furlow, 150 Concord Church Road, Lonoke, Ark. 72086.
