Frederick Scott Krug, age 49, of Colorado Springs, Colo. formerly of Little Rock, Ark. passed into the arms of Christ on May 18, 2014 after a sudden and brief illness caused from liver failure. Scott was born on Nov. 18, 1964 in Little Rock, Ark. where he lived until 1993. He is survived by his daughter, Carlie Krug and her mother, Razelle Doherty both of Colorado Springs; parents, Tad and Judy Krug of Little Rock, Ark.; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Lee Dilworth; and nephews, Jack and Fred all of Nashville, Tenn.; and many, many friends. All truly loved him. Scott had a successful 21 year career with IBM, beginning as a Field Engineer for NORAD, in 2000 as a Certified Project Manager for McData Corporation, followed by CYSCO Systems, and most recently as a Project Management Professional for, AT&T. He enjoyed assisting other IBM Project Managers in achieving their Project Management Professional Certification. The light of Scott's life was his daughter, Carlie; she was his world and he was her hero. Scott also loved family gatherings and his dogs Alex and Bonnie. Being in the mountains, camping and fishing inspired and filled his spirit. He was a mountain man through and through . Scott was a child of GOD, devoted father, cherished son, dearly loved brother, uncle, and loyal friend. He opened his home on numerous occasions to friends and family needing a place to live, and was a stand-in father figure to several teenagers. His unconditional love and tender heart for others will forever define his life. A celebration of Scott's life will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 2 at Fellowship Bible Church, 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Scott's name to the Wounded Warriors Project.
