Clorene "Big Maw" Clark 88 of Sherwood passed away May 28, 2014. She was born December 3, 1925 to the late Floyd and Lola Haycraft in Kyser, Arkansas. She is survived by her son Mike K. Trogden (Vickie) of Sherwood, one brother, Leon Haycraft of Greer's Ferry, Arkansas, two grandchildren, Matthew W. Trogden (Lorrie) of Maumelle and Preston K. Trogden (Christen) of Sherwood. She was also survived by two great-grandchildren, Nichlas W.K. Trogden and Carter M. Trogden, and one nephew, Gary Haycraft of Searcy, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Tommy F. Clark, one Aunt Lona Haycraft and sister-law, Virginia Haycraft and one Uncle Ves Haycraft. Clorene was best known for her love of gardens which she tended to every spring. People would stop at her home just to see all the colors of flowers she had. Irises and roses was one of her favorite flowers to plant, with every color imaginable. She also raised a huge vegetable garden every year. Clorene loved her grandchildren greatly and they were the light of her life and she looked forward to seeing each one and spending as much time with them as possible. Clorene "Big Maw" Clark will be greatly missed by each one who loved her. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home Saturday May 31, 2014 at 1 p.m. with services to follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor B.C. Huston officiating.
