Dale Wheeler

Dale Wheeler, age 82, of Springfield, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born September 30, 1931, in South Haven, Michigan, a son of Clyde Wheeler and Myrtle Vina McKown Wheeler Ring. He was a Navy Korean Veteran, member of Mercy United Pentecostal Church and retired after many years as a printer for the Arkansas Gazette. Survivors include his son, Calvin Wheeler Jr. and wife Patricia of Roger; daughter, Tracey Andrews and husband John Russell of Center Ridge; brother, Carl Ring and wife Phyllis of Morrilton; grandchildren, Hollie Linam and husband Jared of Pea Ridge, Hilary Hubbard and husband Brandon of Center Ridge, Nicholas and Justin Andrews of Center Ridge; six great-grandchildren, Taylor Westin, Brennen, Brady, Bella and Landyn; and his little dog Zoey. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Gilliam Wheeler; granddaughter, Sophia Lynn Andrews and granddaughter-in-law, Kimberly Andrews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Harris Chapel with Pastor Larry Teas officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are made by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
