Thomas Hollis McBryde

Thomas Hollis McBryde, 93 of Benton, formerly of Conway, went home to be with his Lord on November 6, 2014. He was born February 12, 1921 in Lincoln County, Arkansas to the late Cub Porter and Dollie Grumbles McBryde. Hollis was a member of Forest Hills Missionary Baptist Church in Benton. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Kathy McBryde, brothers, Ural, Coy, Ellis, Earl and Havis McBryde. Hollis is survived by his wife of 67 years, Bonnie Ramick McBryde, son, Thomas Preston McBride Sr. and wife, Mavis of Leesville, South Carolina, brother, Lynn McBryde and wife, Virginia of Texarkana, Arkansas, sisters, Jean Cook of Waxahachie, Texas, Nell Bell of Tyler, Texas, grandchildren, Kathy McBride-Friederich and husband, Pastor John Friederich of Leesville, South Carolina, Thomas Preston McBride Jr. and wife, Casey of Silsbee, Texas and eight great-grandchildren. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastor John Friederich officiating. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Grapevine Cemetery with Thomas Preston McBride Sr. officiating.
