Bonita Wilbanks Sheridan

Bonita Wilbanks Sheridan, 85, of Benton, passed away November 13, 2014. She was born May 18, 1929 in Poyen, Arkansas to the late Robert Harrison and Martha Myrtle Byrd Wilbanks. She was a member of Traskwood Missionary Baptist Church in Traskwood, Arkansas. Bonita was retired from the Arkansas Children's Colony She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, J.B. Jones, sons, Johnny and Robert Jones, granddaughter, Christy Jones White, one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her sons, Bobby Jones of Benton and Bill Jones and wife, Shirley of Glen Rose, daughters, Brenda Taylor of East End, Kay Wilbanks of Benton, brothers, Marvin and Robert Wilbanks both of Benton, sisters, Betty Reynolds of Benton and Emma Blake of Traskwood, eight grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 1 p.m. Monday with Bro. Kim Hammer officiating. Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery.
