BOBBIE JANE SMITH, 79, of Jacksonville, Ark. passed away on Nov. 12, 2014. She was born on March 8, 1935 in Shreveport, La. Bobbie Jane was an operating room technician and a member of Marshall Road Baptist Church. She was a fabulous cook who was well known for her tasty pies. A member of the Silver Sneakers, she daily went to the Jacksonville Community Center and enjoyed walking and socializing with her friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of over 46 years, Richard Alan Smith; her parents; two sisters and her son, Thomas Wendell Sellers. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Raybon Clark Sellers and his wife, Barbara, Athena Jane Lingo and her husband, Jeff, Freddie Wayne Sellers and his wife, Renee, and Allegra Diana Ezarik and her husband, Gary; her sisters, Billie Miller and Jo Ann Walters; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, along with a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 with, a Celebration of Life to begin at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Rest Hills Funeral Home.
