Virgil Shive went to be with Jesus Friday, Nov. 14, 2014. A U.S. Army veteran and a member of West Side First Baptist Church, Greers Ferry, Ark. Survived by wife, Bertha; children, Steven Shive, Collierville, Tenn. and Susan Pigott, Katy, Texas; one sister; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: Monday 2-4 p.m. at West Side First Baptist Church, Funeral Service Tuesday, 1:30 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the Gideons. www.olmstead.cc
