Brenda Jo Ryan

Brenda Jo Overturf Ryan, 57, of Austin, departed this life peacefully to join her Savior on Sunday, November 16, 2014. She was born June 19, 1957 to Paul and Eva Overturf of Austin, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eva Overturf. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 40 years, James "Randy" Ryan; her father, Paul Overturf; daughters, Miranda Rogers (John) and Angela Ryan (Tim Colbert); granddaughters, Lainey and Myleigh Jo Rogers; grandsons, Bryce Ryan and James Rogers; brother, Dr. Kenneth Overturf (Betty); sister, Pam Boggan (Jimmy); nephews, Matthew Overturf, Kolt Champlin, Taylor Champlin, Aldyn Overturf; nieces, Katie Overturf, Paige Soderlund, and Taylor James and a large extended family, church family, K-Mart family, and Austin Community Auxiliary family. Brenda was a lifelong member of Austin Station Baptist Church and was dedicated to serving God and living her life as an example for others to see him through her. Anyone that knew Brenda knew that she loved her family; all of her family, her church family, her K-Mart family, and Austin Community Auxiliary family. She loved being a Nana, and adored her grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Diane Wilder and her wonderful chemo nurses at LRHO/CARTI. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 19 at Austin Station Baptist Church. We will celebrate her life at 2 p.m., Thursday at the church, with interment following at Mt.
