Ruth Helen "Hill" Phillips

Ruth Helen "Hill" Phillips, 81, of Hot Springs, died Friday, November 14, 2014. She was born May 8, 1933 in Oden, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Cora (Shackelford) Hill. Ruth was a member of Piney Grove Methodist Church, Hot Springs, where she attended Sunday School and service meetings. Ruth was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Cora Hill and step-father Marven Tabor; husband John Marlin Phillips; her children's father Kenneth A. Eirhart; siblings Carl Hill, Aslean Sybrant, Mildred Hill, Eula Hill; step-siblings Dale, Cecil, Wilbur, Ottis, and Gerald Tabor and Wilma Ward. Survivors include her sister, Zola Mae Clark of Gambrills, Maryland and Arvil Hill (Wannel) of Pencil Bluff, Arkansas and step-brother Algier Tabor of Mount Ida; children Gary W. Eirhart and Donna of Laughlin, Nevada; Jerry E Eirhart and Shellie of Pearcy, Arkansas, Terry Lynn Zander of Thomasville, North Carolina and Robert Zander; close family friend Steven F. Henry of North Little Rock; grandchildren Michelle, Kevin Agiaro, Jennifer Mayer, Brittaney Eirhart, David Zander, Kelsey Eirhart, Tyler Eirhart, Jonathan Schnieder, and Andy Bartsch; great-grandchildren Bella and Seth Agiaro, Austin and John Mayer and Owen Bartsch; numerous cousins, nephew, nieces and friends and a childhood friend, Ila Moore and her Piney Grove Methodist brothers and sisters. Ruth retired from the Little Rock Air Force Base after twenty years of service as a cook and baker for the service members. She was a wonderful person. Her faith in her Father God was very strong and knowledge of the Bible was impressive as well. Ruth was a Christian. There will be a memorial at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Piney Grove Methodist Church, 2963 Airport Road, Hot Springs with Pastor Scott Gallimore officiating.
