Virginia Minchen

Virginia Minchen, 77 of Benton, went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2014. She was born April 1, 1937 in Saline County to Gordon Logan Bray and Violet Taylor Bray. Virginia was a Baptist and member of Congo Road Baptist Church. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. Virginia attended Baptist Medical Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. for X-ray Technician training, working in that field in Houston, Little Rock and Benton. She is survived by her son, Mitchell Minchen of Alexander, one daughter, Cindy Harrell (Paul) of Salem, three grandsons, Zach Elder, Seth Harrell and Elijah Harrell, two brothers, Alton Bray (Lou) of Tuckerman, Gordon Bray (Freda) of Benton, sister, Jean Huggs of Benton, many nieces, nephews and cousins that loved her and will miss her always. Pallbearers will be Alton Bray, Gordon Bray, Scott Bray, Greg Huggs, Paul Harrell and Zach Elder. Chapel services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Ashby Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Langley officiating. Burial will follow at Fairplay Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday night at Ashby Funeral Home, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Congo Road Baptist Church.
