Zelma Ruth Bauser

ZELMA RUTH BAUSER, 76, of North Little Rock passed away Nov. 24, 2014. She was born to the late Guy M. and Alice Tackett Sipes at Wattensaw, Ark. Zelma or Ruth, as many knew her, was a loving mother whose family was always at the center of her life. She enjoyed not only her computer time but old western movies as well. Additionally, she liked researching family genealogy, writing for her own enjoyment and was an avid gardener. Zelma is survived by her husband, Philip of NLR; seven children, Robert May and wife, Barbara of San Diego, Calif., William May and wife, Kelly of Sherwood, Larry May and wife, Angela of Benton, Michael May and wife, Melodie of Sherwood, Julie Bauser of Little Rock, Scott Bauser and wife, Brenda of Clayton, Ohio, and Shari Standridge and husband, Brian of St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Jim Sipes and wife, Betty of Scott, Ark.; a sister, Linda Brown and husband, Vernon of Cabot; 24 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., NLR 72117. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
