Cleda Curtis White Crowder

Cleda Curtis White Crowder, 73, of Little Rock, passed away November 26, 2014, following a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was a retired bookkeeper for Little Rock School District. She previously worked as a bus driver for Pulaski County Schools, and at Aetna Insurance. She was a member of the Agape Sunday School Class at Calvary Church of the Nazarene where she also sang in the choir. She was a 1959 graduate of Robinson High School. She is survived by her husband, James Crowder, of Little Rock; a son, Danny White (Sonya) of Elkhart, Kan.; three step-daughters, Lisa Crowder of Ft. Hood, Texas, Pam Crowder-Verdin of Baton Rouge, La., Cindy Hardnet of San Antonio, Texas; a step-son, Jon Crowder of North Little Rock; two brothers, Herman Curtis, Jr. of Comanche, Okla., and Art Curtis of Rogers, Ark.; a sister, Jeri Curtis Shire of Ferndale, Ark.; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Maxine Curtis, a son, Charles White, and a sister, Ann Curtis Killian. Visitation will be Saturday, November 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. Graveside services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Ferndale.
