Jerry Clinton Buck

Jerry Clinton Buck, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Jerry was born on February 28, 1960 and grew up in Sheridan, Arkansas. He graduated from Sheridan High School and attended Henderson State University. He received a BS in Chemistry. Jerry went to work at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory as a drug chemist in 1982 and ended his 32 year career there as the Scientific Operations Director. He was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church; he enjoyed spending time with his church family his Sunday school class and helping with the nursery. Jerry is survived by his wife Krista Buck, two sons; Jeremy Caleb Buck, of Benton, Ark. and Justin Hubbs, of Oahu, HI, two daughters; Sydney Hall, of Benton, AR and Jessica Hall, of Benton, Ark., his parents, Jessie and Leona Buck, of Sheridan, Ark., three sisters; Retha Mosley (Gilbert), Reba Buck, and Becky Morgan (John), one brother, Jessie Buck, and a host of family and friends that will love and miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Lee Annette Buck. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Crystal Hill Baptist Church. Visitation was held Friday, November 28, 2014 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark (501) 224-8300.
