Ernie W. Gardner 76, of Clinton, Arkansas departed from this life Wednesday, October 1, 2014. He was born March 29, 1938 in Low Gap Community, Arkansas to Samuel Jackson and Nellie Agnes (Bryant) Gardner. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Lilma Gardner. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Louise Gardner of the home, two children, Jeff Gardner (Nancy) of Heber Springs, Ark.; and Lori Meazle (James) of Clinton, Ark.; three grandchildren, Rebekah Bowling (Lance) of Greenbrier, Ark.; Jackson Meazle (Aimee) of San Francisco, Calif.; and Caroline Meazle of Conway, Ark.; one great-granddaughter, Birley Grace Bowling, two sisters, Roberta Phillips, and Donna Cleaver (Jim) and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers: Lane Hall, D.L. Jones, Benny Scarberry, Dan Eoff, Jim Cleaver, and Rusty Meazle. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 and Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Pastor Virgil Lemings officiating. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery Scotland, Arkansas.
