Heather Crystal Mahan Everett

Heather Crystal Mahan Everett, 42, of Dennard, passed from this life on Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was born June 23, 1972 to Samuel Paul Mahan and Linda Gale (Blackwell) Mahan-Adams. Heather's heart was full of compassion. She loved animals, and had nursed numerous stray and injured animals to health throughout her life. Heather loved people. Her beautiful smile brightened the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. Most of all, Heather loved her family. Her daughter Mattie was her pride and joy and she had found true happiness with her love Benny Boyd and his sons Sawyer and Dallas. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Heather was preceded in death by her father, Sam Mahan, step-father Larry Adams, her grandparents Opie and Esther Blackwell, and her grandmother Rose Mahan. Heather is survived by her daughter, Mattilyn Rose Everett, and her mother Linda Adams both of Dennard, her brother Matthew Dillon Mahan and wife Sharo of Springhill, her sisters Belinda Adams Fletcher and husband Jimmy of Monticello, Stephanie Crouse and husband Icer of Portland, Ark.; her nieces Samantha Rose Mahan, Shelly Newton-Pevey, and Celeste Crouse, nephews Mark Fletcher and Adam Newton, her grandfather Bill Mahan of Damascus, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Pastors Jeff Childers and Jim Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Blackwell Cemetery with Burl Fortenberry officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton, Arkansas.
