Edward M. Wright, 71, of Sherwood passed away on Oct. 2, 2014 in Little Rock. He was born Dec. 4, 1942 to the late Wilson E and Billie Wright in Little Rock, Ark. "Mr. Ed" known to his friends grew up between Garland, Texas and North Little Rock, Ark. He retired in 1998 after 31 years with American Airlines. Ed had a passion for motorcycles, camping and the gift of gab. In later years, he enjoyed his men's group at church, volunteering at the Friendly Chapel, having coffee and donuts after daily mass. Those left to cherish Ed's memory are his wife of 49 years, Judy (Ferguson) Wright; son Ken (Candi) of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Holly of North Little Rock, Ark.; three grandchildren, Taylor, Coleman and Carson Wright; step-grandsons, Britton and Kellon Hibbard of Memphis, Tenn. and Alan Wright (Kathleen) of Garland, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. Thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses at UAMS for all the dedication and compassion they showed to the family and Ed. The memorial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 7000 JFK Blvd Little Rock, AR 501-835-4323. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday Oct. 5, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home 7724 Landers Rd North Little Rock, AR 501-835-3515.
