AIma Lee Moore Penny

AIma Lee Moore Penny, 86, of Camden, formerly of Hampton, passed away peacefully October 6, 2014. She was born February 12, 1928 Hampton, Ark. to the late Gus and Mattie Walter McRae. She was an avid gardener who loved family reunions, quilting, crocheting, and most of all the Lord. She wac a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where she worked faithfully as a member of the usher board. She greeted people with a warm smile and in a friendly manner. Alma was preceded in death by her sisters; Bessie, L.essie, Exie and O'DelI McRae, Girlen (Hannah) Moore and Opal Diggs; brothers, Detroit and Willie McRae. She was married to the late Rev. Jamee E. Moore Sr. She is survived by their seven children Dr. James E. Moore Jr. (Linda), Barbara Moore, Darlene Greene of Hampton, Norma Berry of Stamps, Clyde E. Moore of West Point; Cornelious Moore of Hamburg, Lestene Thomas of Little Rock, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a sister, Hattie Fort of Camden. Services Saturday, 11 a.m., St. Paul Baptist Church, Hampton, wake Friday, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Marks Funeral Home, 501 W 1st, Fordyce.
