Merle Jean Davidson Williams

MRS. MERLE JEAN DAVIDSON WILLIAMS left the loving arms of her family and entered the gates of heaven on Oct.r 8, 2014. She was born on Oct. 4, 1927, to Clyde N. and Flora (Burnham) Crowley, in Little Rock, Ark. She retired in 1986 from North American Philips and was a member of the Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Lorn A. "Shorty" Davidson and Robert "Bob" Williams; parents; siblings, Basil, Maurice and Billy Wayne Crowley and Connie Jensen. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, James (Cheryl) Davidson of Mabelvale and Leonard (Judy) Davidson of Bryant; grandchildren are Michael, Chris, Wendy, Monica, Reese and Hong Davidson, Michelle Mann, Lisa Prickett, Scott Gillespie and 14 great-grandchildren. Also mourning her passing are her sister, Diane Price, of Des Arc, Ark. and step-daughter, Sandy Uyeda and family of Conway, Ark. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home at 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock.
