Kyle Polk, 29, of Hot Springs Village, Ark. passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at Saline Memorial Hospital. He was born September 9, 1985 in Little Rock. Kyle was a member of Jessieville First Baptist Church, a volunteer for the Jessieville School System, and an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Polk, grandfather, Gilbert Polk, and great grandmother, Mae Spivey. Survivors include his parents, Gil Polk of Hot Springs Village and Jackie (Spivey) Echols and husband John of Benton; two sisters, Crista Anderson of North Little Rock and Kara Polk of Hot Springs Village; three brothers, Chad Parker (Lindsey) of Benton, Zack Polk (Michelle) of Pond Creek, Okla., and Kenton Polk of Hot Springs Village; maternal grandparents, Jack and Sue Spivey; paternal grandparents, Jim and Donna Christenberry; aunts and uncles, Rick and Susan Spivey, Cindy and Marty Green, Sally Hinkle, Kathy and Robert Nielsen, and Annie and Jeff Willis, along with numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 in the Jessieville High School Sports Arena with Bro. Derek Combs officiating. Interment was at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Pallbearers were Eddie Lamb, Matt Carter, Jamie Saveall, Don Phillips, Jerry Chumley, Chad Parker, Zack Polk, Kenton Polk, and Donnie Robertson. Serving as honorary pallbearers were the staff and students of Jessieville School District.
