Bertie Marie Parker

Bertie Marie Parker, 90, of Clinton Arkansas left her earthly family to be with the Lord on October 18th, 2014. She was born on July 10th, 1924 to Buell and Josephine (Elliott) Albertson of Little Rock. Bertie was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, Kindell Wayne Parker, one brother and four sisters. She is survived by her sisters, Rebecca Ann Ison (John); Donna Marie Stevens (Frank); Jo Ellen Pohle (Steve); and Marianne Taylor (Jerry). She was further blessed with 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Bertie loved to spend countless hours in her garden, where she raised a multitude of beautiful roses. In addition, she enjoyed to sing and dance and was a loving homemaker. Bertie was also a life-long member of New Bethel Baptist Church of Harrison, Tennessee. A visitation and funeral service will be held for Bertie at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, in Alexander on Wednesday, October 22nd beginning at 10:30 a.m. A committal service will immediately follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
