Glenda N. Golden

Glenda N. Golden, 75, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. She was a retired displayer of Home Interiors and Gifts and was a clerk for Griffey's Uniforms. Glenda was a member of Berean Baptist Church for 56 years and a Sunday School teacher since 1978. She was an exceptional cook and loved cooking for her family and friends. She loved gardening and was recipient of yard of the month several times. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Golden: two daughters, Karen Byrd and husband Dennis of Austin and Kim Helmbeck of Cabot; mother, Pauline Appleby of Cabot; sister, Linda Tension of Vilonia (Bill); four grandchildren, Jennifer Burtts, Brad Byrd, Kylan Helmbeck and Kramer Helmbeck all of Cabot; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Nataleigh and Skylar Burtts all of Cabot. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Appleby. Memorials may be made to Berean Baptist Church, 5512 Pike Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Berean Baptist Church. Burial will be in Edgewood. Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Church.
