Thomas James Clement

Thomas James Clement, Sr. 93, born February 11, 1921 in Lonoke, Arkansas, to John William and Emma Pearl Hamilton Clement, died October 22, 2014. Tom and his family moved to Scott in 1922, where he graduated from Scott High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Wetahwojuan Lynn on June 13, 1943 and they remained devoted to each other until her death in 2001. After serving in the Army Air Force during WWII, Tom spent almost his entire professional life working with farmers and John Deere. He was a member of All Souls Church from the cradle roll until his death. Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Pearl Clement Maack. He is survived by a daughter: Deborah (Dan) Raessler and a son: Tommy (Becky) Clement; grandchildren: Chris Clement, Jonathan Raessler (Stephanie), and Sarah Raessler; great-grandchildren: Beckett and Philippa Rassler; and a dear friend: Helen Bess Braswell. A visitation will be held at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939 on Sunday, October 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 27 at All Souls Church, 4601 Walkers Corner Rd., Scott, Arkansas 72142.
