Mrs. Barbara J. Almond Butler age 75, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Hillcrest Health Care and Rehab in Prescott. She was born February 16, 1939, in Prescott, Arkansas to Clifton and Odia Belle Jones Almond. She was a member of Central Baptist church in Prescott, Nevada County Assessor for 12 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and dearly loved to drive a school bus for the Prescott Public Schools. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Justin Key. Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband of 59 years, Baker Butler of Prescott, son, Steve Butler and wife Kelley of Arlington, Texas, daughters, Debbie O'Keefe and husband Van, Susie Key and Sandy Haynie all of Prescott, sister, Marilyn Davis and husband Gerry of Emmet, Arkansas, grandchildren, Brent O'Keefe, Misti O'Keefe, Kayla Fox, Clark Butler, Sarah Cross, Casey Key, Kelsey Purtle, Baker Butler and Coke Butler, and great-grandchild, Blakeley Fox. Visitation for Mrs. Butler will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral service for Mrs. Butler will be 10:00am, Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Central Baptist Church in Prescott with Bro. Perry Johnson, and Bro.
