Sharon Hays

Sharon Hays, 69, of Searcy, died Thursday, September 4, 2014. She was born April 26, 1945 in Mountain View, Arkansas, the daughter of Thurman and Eula Sample. Sharon is survived by her two sons, Keith Hays and his wife Rebekkah of Judsonia, and Kenny Hays and his wife Laura of Benton; a brother, Jay Fornelli and his wife Sharon of Searcy; two sisters, Shirley Sutter and her husband Dickie of Judsonia and Glenda Smith and her husband Ronnie of Pleasant Plains; five grandchildren, Zac Hays, Jordan Hays, Gavin Smith, Brandon Mueller and his wife Chelsey, and Marie Mueller; and one great grandchild, Landrey Baye Mueller. She is preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Hays and her parents. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 7 at 3 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel of Searcy. Interment will follow at Pleasant Plains Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
