Don Murray

DON MURRAY, 80, of Sherwood went to his heavenly home to be with The Lord on Sept. 4, 2014. He was born Oct. 5, 1933, son to the late Leonard and Vennie Murray. He was a long time employee for Moore Ford of North Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Murray was a U. S. Army veteran and also a member of Southside Baptist Church of England, Ark. He was a devoted husband, a very caring Daddy, a wonderful Papa and a loyal friend. He is survived by the love of his life of 60 years, Apsie Murray; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty Arnold and husband Jimmy of Sherwood, Donna Cutler and husband Curtis of Russellville; and one son, Mark Murray of Sherwood; four grandchildren, Tanner Arnold and his wife Kodie of Fayetteville, Ryan Cutler and his wife Melissa of Russellville, Richard Cutler of Conway, Jessica Murray of Sherwood; six great-grandchildren, Cayli, Jordan, Christopher, Blake, Cash and Laiken; a brother, J. R. Murray of Pine Bluff; a sister, Bobbie Davis of North Little Rock; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home 7724 Landers Rd. North Little Rock, Ark., on Monday, Sept. 8. The family will receive friends at the chapel starting at 1:00 until the service begins at 2:00. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Ark. Pallbearers will be Curtis Cutler, Ryan Cutler, Richard Cutler, Jimmy Arnold, Tanner Arnold, Brandon Duck, Steven Duck, and Johnny Bird.
