Archie Monroe Mills

ARCHIE MILLS, 96, a World War II Veteran, was born May 3, 1918 in Logan County, Arkansas, and left this earth peacefully Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 to be with his family members in Heaven. His wife, Eula Mills; his sister, Marie McCarley; his brother, Austin Mills and his mother and father, Flura and Lewis Mills, have preceded him in death. He leaves behind his brother, Charles Mills and family in Salinas California; his sister, Martha Patterson of Clarksville, Ark.; his children, Dwayne Mills and Lenora Mills of North Little Rock, Ark.; Lawana Mills Crouse and her husband, Skinny Glendall Crouse, of Camden, Ark.; grandchildren, Mark Crouse and his wife, Tracy, of Garland, Texas; Kimberly Smith and her husband, Joe, of Camden, Ark.; Becky Crowder and Steve McDougal of Camden, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Stephen Crouse, Jennie McKnight, Breanna Crowder and many other nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014 at Oakland Cemetery, with Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Ark.
