Margaret Elizabeth Hancock, 48, was born September 20, 1965 and passed away September 3, 2014. Margaret is preceded in death by her father, Marion Gianbolvo; and her brother, George Gianbolvo. Margaret is survived by her husband of 29 years, Russell E. Hancock Jr, 63; her eldest daughter, Alexandria E. Hancock, 28; her only son, Russell E. Hancock III, 25; her youngest daughter, Katherine A. Hall, 23 and her son-in-law, Chad R. Hall, 28. She is also survived by her mother; two brothers, two sisters; and a large extended family. Margaret was born in Illinois and lived around the Midwest with her family before marrying her husband, Russell, in 1985. After their marriage, Margaret lived in Illinois, Texas, Rhode Island, and finally Arkansas, where her husband retired from the United States Navy. Margaret made her home in Cabot, Little Rock, and England before passing away from complications of lung cancer. Margaret was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She took care of her family and made an impact on the lives of children through her daycare and years substituting as a teacher. Her children's friends fondly referred to her as "Mom" and "Mommie" and she "adopted" many of them into her heart as her own children. Visitation services will be held for Margaret on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Arkansas Funeral Care from 5-7 p.m. Her funeral services will be held at the same funeral home on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. Margaret will be buried at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois on Friday, September 12, 2014 at noon.
