Mrs. Sylvia Walls Taylor was the youngest daughter born to the late Steve Walls Sr., and Florence Triggs Walls in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, June 1, 1920. She passed to her heavenly reward, September 3, 2014 in her home. She was a member of the Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. She was married to the late Jasper M. Taylor. To this union 12 children were born; two children preceded her in death, Jasper Taylor Jr., and Lavern Taylor-Price; five brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories, five sons, Sylvester Taylor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Sherman(Georgia) Taylor of North Canton, Ohio, Alton (Vanessa) Taylor of Little Rock, Arkansas, Maaruice (Carmen) Taylor of Woodstock, Georgia, Cedric Taylor of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; five daughters; Ester Taylor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Margaret(Harvey) Taylor-Estis of Los Angeles, California, Cynthia (Kenneth) Taylor-Whitmore of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Sharon Taylor-Harris of Texarkana, Arkansas, Stephany (R.C,) Taylor-Toney of White Hall, Arkansas; 29 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren Funeral services will be Thursday, September 11, 2014, at the Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Larry Battles officiating. Interment will be at the Mount Olive Cemetery. Services entrusted tot the P.K. Miller Mortuary. Visitation will be Wednesday, at the P.K. Miller Mortuary from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Mrs. Taylor will lie in repose at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
