Audrey C. Crook

Audrey Christine Crook, 93, of Hot Springs, daughter of Ollie Elmer and Johnnie White Crook died September 6, 2014. Audrey was born April 18, 1921 in Parkin, Ark. She graduated from Forest City High School, received a BA from the University of Arkansas, an MLS from Peabody College and was a Fulbright Scholar. Audrey was an English teacher and head librarian at Catalina High School in Tucson, Ariz. She is survived by her sister, Faye Wood (Jonesboro, Ark.) sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Crook (San Clemente, Calif.) and 10 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by brothers, Ollie Crook, Thomas Crook, Charles Crook and sister, Mary Ella Clark. A family graveside service will be at Gogbill Cemetery Wynne, Ark.
